Arts Council / Theatre Volunteer

Come volunteer with us! The Augusta Arts Council and Historic Theatre are run completely by volunteers. You will have the opportunity to work in special events and also learn positions such as ticket sales, drink making, cashiering, popcorn popping and even projecting the movie! This is also a great time to connect with the community and share your smiles!
Volunteers come in about 30-45 minutes before the movie starts (although sometimes earlier depending on the movie/event) to prepare the concessions and will stay after the movie to clean up. Clean up usually takes less than 20 minutes. Once duties are completed at the start of the movie, the volunteer will have free entry into the movie (and most events) along with a free popcorn and drink. We would love to talk with you about it!
