Saw Tyrus there tonight and I don't know if they don't have AC or if it was overtaxed by the sell out crowd, but it was brutally hot. Everyone that had anything to fan themselves with were going at it all night. For what we paid this is inexcusable and really ruined what otherwise was a good performance. Do not go during the summer unless you enjoy sweating until you almost pass out. If no one says anything, they won't have a reason to fix it.

Response from Augusta Historic Theatre & Arts Council Thank you, David for coming to our theatre for the show. You are right when you say about the sell out crowd over taxing the system. Unfortunately, 2 of 4 of our a/c motors failed. Our theatre is completely ran by volunteers and our maintenance person jumped to work as soon as the problem was noticed. Tickets were priced and sold by the talent's booking agent, we had no part in that. We do apologize and hope that you enjoyed the show even through hardship.
