Built in 1935 the Augusta Historic Theatre is a working, non-profit, movie theatre and event venue. It was one of the first in the Nation to have neon lighting inside and outside the theatre. Many of the original fixtures are still there, including the hand-painted ceiling tiles, and our 1940's popcorn popper! Movie tickets start at $6 and our concession specials start at $5. Come experience a friendly atmosphere in our nostalgic and unique theatre! Our theatre and art centre are both available for private rentals. Bring the company out for your own private movie!
